What is Women Build?

A community build event that brings people together to construct a new home for a family in our community. 14 teams of 10 individuals join together to:

Raise funds to build a home
Physically construct a home
Build awareness throughout the community about the importance of affordable, secure, decent homes
Bring new women and groups into the mission for affordable housing
Have fun!

How does it work?

Teams and individuals will raise a total of $100,000
Each team schedules one full day to work on the build site
Individual fundraising requirement to build: $500 OR each team raises $5000

Saturday, July 13th: Blue Angels Parking Fundraiser Day 2
Thursday, July 18th: Kickoff Breakfast
Saturday, August 24th: Multi-Team Yard Sale
Wednesday, October 23rd: Fundraising Deadline
Thursday, October 24th: Build Celebration
Saturday, October 26th: Graffiti Bridge Painting
Saturday, October 26th: Groundbreaking and First Build Day
Tuesday, October 29th - Saturday, November 2nd: Build Week!
